10,000 fans review first glimpse of Anfield’s stunning new grandstand

There are just 12 days to go before Anfield’s stunning new grandstand officially opens its doors to host the first match at their redeveloped home ground. Yesterday, 10,000 lucky supporters were invited to be the first to experience the club’s new premium facilities.

Among those attending the specially organised test event, Robbie Fowler made an appearance to join fans sampling new matchday menus, walk the brand new concourses and take part in the safety certification process ensuring the venue is ready for the first home game.

Fowler also assisted a joint training session between Liverpool Ladies and Youth teams.

Full Photo gallery from the event can be seen on the club’s site, and rave reviews flooded social media pages with one fan commenting:

“Can’t get over how brilliant this is. They couldn’t have done it any better. Absolutely amazing”
