Winning Business: Stechert secures Bulstrad Arena contract via TheStadiumBusiness

International seating supplier Stechert has completed the installation of over 5,000 seats at the New Bustard Arena in Bulgaria, after first meeting at TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2014 in London.

Stechert Group has installed over 5,000 seats at the new Bulstrad Arena in Ruse, Bulgaria. The Bulstrad Arena is one of the most modern multipurpose-halls in South-East Europe and will play host to a number of concerts, shows and sporting events.

Spectators will take a seat on 120 models of “Copacabana Business” and more than 5,000 of “TipUp smart”. Over 1,200 of these seats were mounted on telescopic grandstands. Therefore the arena can be adjusted to fit all types of events in a short space of time.

Stechert mounted all seats within just three weeks so that Bulstrad Arena could be inaugurated in time for its opening event on 23rd July 2015 – a concert from the Bulgarian singing legend Lili Iwanowa. Illustrious figures such as the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Bojko Borissow and Plamen Bobokov, the project investor, were spectators for the opening event.

Bobokov was visibly pleased during this event and was full of praise for the seats from Germany. Bobby Velkov and Ivan Drandiyski, the managers of Bulstrad Arena (pictured above), were also enthusiastic about the quality of the seats and their business with Stechert Group:

“We are completely happy with the seats from Stechert. The great design and comfortable shape fit flawlessly in our new arena, which is one of the most modern venues in South-East Europe. Everything from the order to the installation worked out perfectly.”

Mr Drandiyski continued: “As you know it all started during TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2014 in London when we were first introduced to the guys at Stechert. It then continued onto TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2014 in Madrid, then moved to Sofia and ended in Ruse.”

TheStadiumBusiness would like to extend its congratulations to Stechert and the Bulstrad Arena and look forward to welcoming them back for the 2015 edition.
